SHERRI ASHORN

Board Member

Sherri Ashorn brings over 15 years of leadership experience in public education and currently serves as Director of Student Affairs for one of Texas’s largest school districts. In this role, she supports more than 70 campuses and provides expertise in board policy, student discipline, Title IX compliance, and professional development for campus administrators. A lifelong learner with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset, Sherri is known for evaluating programs and processes with clarity and translating ideas into actionable steps and effective communication.

Beyond her professional work, Sherri is deeply involved in her hometown, volunteering in leadership roles within her children’s schools and her church. She believes strong communities are built when neighbors notice needs and step forward—and she strives to do exactly that, both professionally and personally.
